How to Paint a Stylized Landscape| Silver Basin Colorado | Travel Sketch

A travel sketchbook session from start to finish! Catching up on an unfinished sketch I did while traveling in and around the area of Ouray, Colorado, back in July of 2022. This view is of a beautiful place called the "Silver Basin". This video is a good example of how I would paint a "full" landscape while on location, without stopping to second-guess myself or even think about whether or not I'm using the "correct" techniques or not. The results of this free way of painting are always different, surprising, and fun! I encourage everyone to try painting while letting go and not worry about the result! The purpose is to enjoy the process and have fun!
